Event Summary
The Pioneering Research for Early Prediction of Alzheimer's and Related Dementias EUREKA (PREPARE) Challenge was a multi‑year innovation competition supported by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) that advanced methods and data for early prediction of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Through three phases, over 1,000 participants submitted solutions for open data and innovative methods, building to the final phase where 10 teams refined proof‑of‑concept methods for innovative, rigorous, and generalizable early prediction.
This in‑person Winner Showcase event will gather the prize finalists, challenge sponsors and organizers, and stakeholders within and outside of NIA to share and celebrate the competition results. Representatives of the four top teams will present their proof-of-concept models and receive awards for first‑place, second‑place, and runner‑up prizes.
Food and refreshments will be provided, including light breakfast, full lunch, and reception snacks. The Coffee Zone on the lobby level sells drinks and light food until 3:00 p.m.
